FontPark

I just can’t remember when we talked about fonts last time, so I decided to find something new to refresh this category. Fortunately, it’s something pretty big, not just some new fonts portal with a few thousands available, of which more than half are commercial ones. No, no, not “pretty big,” simply “huge,” that’s how FontPark can be described, so let’s take a look at it, shall we?

I don’t know if this is a typo or it has something to do with my browser (Opera 10, by the way), but the official mumbo-jumbo goes like this: “FontPark is the largest portal noncommercial fonts . The current database has more than 70,000 fonts available for noncommercial and commercial use for PC Mac and Linux.” I know it’s a tough period for a lot of businesses, but I think those “Advertise Here” spaces should be full, especially since we’re talking about “the largest portal” in a field that’s pretty popular.

Anyway, here’s a blitz contest: what’s wrong with the description I quoted above? You can win the “Eagle Eye” nickname! 😉

Compatibility: all major browsers, at least until someone proves me wrong…
